With a head of steam at the AFM, family film Thomas And The Magic Railroad has been sold by Kathy Morgan International to a raft of territories including Germany where it has been picked up by Telemunchen.

Other sales include South Africa (New Metro), Portugal (Eco Filmes) and the Middle East (Almassa). The film was previously sold to Icon Film Distribution for the UK and Australia''s ABC Films.

Starring Alec Baldwin, Mara Wilson and Peter Fonda, the mixed live-action and model animation is a co-production between Gullane Pictures, the US production and distribution subsidiary of the UK's Britt Allcroft Company, and Destination Films.

The film is written, directed and produced by Phil Fehrle. Executive producers include Gullane Picture''s Charles Falzon and Destination Film''s Steve Stabler, Brent Baum and Barry London.
