Tohokusinsha FilmCorporation has acquired all Japanese rights to Martin Scorsese's documentaryfeature about The Rolling Stones which is one of the hottest titles at the AFM.

Portugal's Lusomundo is alsoone of the first distributors to sign on for the film. Sales agent FortissimoFilms has also received multiple offers for territories including Spain, Italy,Aus/NZ, the UK, Benelux, Israel and Scandinavia and expects to close severalmore deals during the AFM.

Paramount Pictures hasdomestic rights to the as-yet-untitled film which is scheduled for release inthe fourth quarter of 2007.

Meanwhile, Lusomundo hasbought four other titles - For Your Consideration, Ashes Of Time- Redux, Children Of Glory anddocumentary Freedom's Fury -from Fortissimo. For Your Consideration also went to Israel's IL Film Distribution and Cathay for Singapore andMalaysia. Children Of Glory wassold to Singapore's Festive Film, and Fabulous! The Story Of Queer Cinema and This Film Is Not Yet Rated to Mongrel Media in Canada.
