Tom Quinn has been named director of acquisitions for Samuel Goldwyn Films and will relocate to the company's New York office immediately.

Quinn joined Goldwyn in 1997 as manager of production and acquisitions; prior to that he was executive assistant to Samuel Goldwyn Jr and worked in publicity for the company under Nancy Willen. He will report to Samuel Goldwyn Films president Meyer Gottlieb.

Goldwyn has been building a release slate for 2000 which includes Liv Ullmann's critically acclaimed Cannes competition entry Faithless and Benito Zambrano's Spanish hit Solas.
