In its eighth year the programme will introduce $10,000 grants for each project along with individually tailored mentorships.

Tribeca All Access (TAA) will present the projects throughout a five-day schedule. Ten filmmakers from across the country were selected from a pool of more than 376 submissions.

For the fourth year, two international participants are included through the programme’s partnership with the Canadian Film Centre and for the last time the UK Film Council.

TAA alumni Dennis Lee and Michael Collins showcase their films in the festival this year. Lee arrives with Jesus Henry Christ starring Toni Collette and Michael Sheen and Collins directed the miscarriage of justice documentary Give Up Tomorrow.

Additional TAA alumni successes include Maryam Keshavarz’s Circumstance and Rashaad Ernesto-Green’s Gun Hill Road, both of which screened in Sundance this year.
