Denmark's Trust Film Sales will handle international sales of Polish director Malgosia Szumowska's 33 Scenes of Life, currently shooting at Krakow, Poland. Denmark's Zentropa Entertainments is co-producing.

'I worked with Szumowska on Visions of Europe-25 Countries 1 Film, where she delivered the Polish entry, and we agreed we would continue our collaboration,' explained Zentropa's Mikael Olsen, associate producer of 33 Scenes.

Szumowska, whose Stranger was selected for Sundance in 2005, has scripted the film which stars German actress Julia Jentsch, who won a Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for her performance in the Oscar nominated Sophie Scholl: The Final Days, and Danish actor Peter Gantzler.

33 Scenes follows the life of Julia (Jentsch), who within a year sees her entire world disintegrating: her husband leaves, her dog dies, her parents pass away, her professional life is in crisis, and she gets pregnant by a man everybody thinks is homosexual. Life is not that simple.

Polish actors Margorzata Hajewska, Maciej Sthur and Andrzej Hudziak have joined the cast of the film which is produced by Raimond Goebel and Teresa Dvorzecka for Germany's Pandora Filmproduktions and Poland's STI Studio Filmowe-Warsaw.

Olsen expected 33 Scenes to be ready for the Berlinale 2008.
