The Rod Hall Agency, thetalent agency of Simon Beaufoy, Jeremy Brock and Simon Nye, is to form a jointventure with fellow agency Alan Brodie Representation. The team-up follows thedeath of the company's founder, Rod Hall.

The new-look operation willincorporate Hall's name as well bring in clients mainly from the TV world, butincluding film talent such as Tim Firth.

"Alan and his company AlanBrodie Representation have an excellent reputation together with a client listand bespoke service that compliments ours," said Rod Hall's Charlotte Mann.

Mann announced a biennialmemorial award for Hall open to unrepresented playwrights aged 18 - 30, whowill be invited to submit a full-length stage play. The award comes with a£5,000 award and representation.

"I see the award as being acomplete package to inspire an emerging writer to take the step towards writingas a full time career," Mann said. "I'm delighted that Rod's name shall remainsynonymous with exciting new work."

The memorial service forHall takes place Oct 14 at St James Church, Piccadilly, at 12 noon.
