Clint Eastwood and RogerCorman will be honoured at the Producers Guild of America's (PGA) annual awardsceremony on Jan 22 2006 in Los Angeles.

Eastwood, whose producingcredits include the Oscar winning Million Dollar Baby and Unforgiven, will receive the Milestone Award and Corman, whose prolific career hasspawned The Wild Angels and Deathrace3000 among many others, will collectthe David O Selznick Achievement Award.

The PGA will announce itsfil and television producer of the year nominees on Jan 4 2006 and will unveilthe Vanguard Award and Stanley Kramer recipients shortly.

"The greatest producers havealways been mavericks, and their greatest triumphs have always been in the faceof incalculable odds," PGA awards co-chairs Stacey Sher and Bruce Cohen said ina joint statement.

"In Clint, Roger and Norman[Lear, who receives the PGA Achievement Award for television], the PGA is proudto honour a trio of legendary figures whose unshakable faith in their ownvision and conviction was enough to persevere against the conventional wisdomand entrenched practices of the industry establishment."

Previous Milestone Awardwinners include Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Warren Beatty, KirkDouglas, Alfred Hitchcock, and Jack L Warner.

The David O Selznick honourhas gone in the past to Laura Ziskin, Dino De Laurentiis, Robert Evans, BrianGrazer and Jerry Bruckheimer.
