Jeffrey A Okun was re-elected as board chair for a fourth one-year term at the Visual Effects Society’s (VES) board meeting on Jan 18. Okun is also the head of visual effects for Prana Studios.

“I could not be more excited to serve again,” Okun said, “I am thrilled to be allowed to focus on our core mission: creating community, promoting visual effects and the artists who create them.

Michael Fink was elected first vice-chair and Pam Hogarth second vice-chair, while Bob Coleman was voted in as treasurer and Kim Lavery was named secretary.
