Andrzej Wajda and John Seale to receive Lifetime Achievement awards at Polish cinematography festival
The 19th Plus Camerimage festival (Nov 26 - Dec 3), dedicated to the art of cinematography, will honour Klaus Maria Brandauer, Jack Fisk, Albert Maysles, Ed Lachman, Todd Haynes, Andy Morahan John Seale and Andrzej Wajda.
There will be retrospectives of Hal Hartley and Jay Rosenblatt.
Poland’s biggest international film festival, which awards films according to their visual and technical values, has a main competition as well as sections for Polish films, documentaries, feature debuts, music videos and a Student Etudes Competition. There will also be forums, a “Plus Camerimage Market” and accompanying art exhibitions and music performances.
This edition the festival moves to Bydgoszcz, Poland.
