France's Wild Bunch and Benelux's A-Film have announced a distribution, acquisition and co-production partnership for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

A-Film will now be the exclusive theatrical, video and television distributor in the Benelux region for new films acquired or co-produced by Wild Bunch.

A-Film will also be responsible for handling existing Wild Bunch catalogue titles which do not currently have distribution in the area.

The two companies will make joint acquisitions in the territory as well as looking at producing local films. The deal marks the continued growth of Wild Bunch's pan-European distribution network.

The coordination of the partnership will be overseen by A-Film Belgium chief Erik Engelen who will also follow up any eventual acquisitions and co-productions.
