Zenpix, the domestic and international distribution company founded by Susan Jackson and Jon Kramer, has acquired all US distributIon rights to A Foreign Affair starring David Arquette, Tim Blake Nelson and Emily Mortimer. Myriad Pictures is handling foreign.

Zenpix plans to release the film through Mark Borde's Innovation Film Group in late 2003; Borde set up Innovation last September after his two year tenure as president of Keystone Releasing and has a one-year theatrical partnership with Zenpix to release titles including 30 Years To Life and Jesus Nebot's No Turning Back.

Directed by Helmut Schleppi, A Foreign Affair screened in American Spectrum at this year's Sundance Film Festival. It tells the story of two naïve brothers from small-town America who travel to Russia as part of a singles programme.

Zenpix's library includes Bernard Rose's Ivansxtc and Latin American box office hit Gabriela. The company launched its foreign sales arm at this year's AFM.
