Universal's Love Actually grossed an estimated $10m from 2,800theatres in 28 countries through UIP at the weekend, raising its internationalrunning total to $87m.

The total excludes France,where the film is distributed by Studiocanal and has taken $3m to date. Theromantic comedy is looking good to pass $100m with 13 countries still to open.

Love Actually stayed on top in its fourth weekend in the UK, dropping 29% on$3.8m for a $42.3m cumulative total and enjoying 30% market share.

It is tracking 11% ahead of Bridget Jones's Diary and 20% ahead of Notting Hill, which finished on $60m and $53m in theUK respectively.

The film ranked third in its fourth weekend in Germany, where itdropped 18% on $1.2m for $8.1m. The latest running total for Spain is $5.4mafter four weekends.

The only opening was in Argentina, where Love Actually grossed a disappointing $72,000 from 44sites for an unconfirmed ranking.

In Brazil the film held well in its second weekend, ranking thirdand adding $350,000 from 141 sites and dropping a mere 15% for $1.1m.

The drama 21 Grams dropped 40% on $285,000 from 250 sites in its fourth weekend inMexico, the home country of director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, ranking fifthon a $4m running total there.

Intolerable Cruelty grossed $1m in 34 countries to raise its international total to$73.5m. It has five more countries to open including Japan on April 17, 2004.
