Ali G, the TV creation of UK comedy phenomenon Sacha Baron-Cohen, is hanging with the Working Title massive, for real.

Baron-Cohen, famous for his spoof gangsta rapper - complete with Day-Glo tracksuit, wrap-around shades and chunky jewellery - is striking a development deal with the UK production powerhouse. The white-hot comedian is developing a slate of features which he is to write and star in through Working Title's WT2 division.

While the debut project is not finalised, Ali G's personas include camp Austrian interviewer Bruno; an East European journalist; and Ali G, famed for such turns of phrase as "for real," "me is feelin' that" and "boyakasha".
