Angelina Speare has been promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president, international operations & finance, at Warner Bros Pictures. She will oversee the day-to-day operations, business development and financial planning and reporting for the international arm of Warner Bros as well as the company's international regional offices and affiliates.

Speare will report directly to Richard Fox, executive vice president, international at Warner Bros and work closely with the newly appointed president of international distribution Veronika Kwan-Rubinek and the newly appointed president of international marketing Sue Kroll.

Speare has served as senior vice president, international operations & finance, for Warner Bros Pictures since 1996. She started her career in entertainment in 1979 at the now defunct Producers Sales Organization (PSO), moving in 1987 to become vice president, international administration and operations at Lorimar Pictures and then for two years in the same capacity at Warner Bros Pictures when Warner took over Lorimar in 1989. In 1991, she moved to Morgan Creek International as vice president before returning to Warner in 1992 as vice president, international theatrical administration.
