Neil Friedman's Menemsha Entertainment has closed a deal in Germany on Czech festival favourite Autumn Spring with MFA. The film, directed by Vladimir Michalek, will open in New York City in the US through First Look Pictures at the end of July.

Menemsha has also closed deals on the film with Sharmil in Australia, LNK in Portugal, Gloria in Denmark, Crown in Taiwan, Netherlands TV in The Netherlands, Delta in Peru, Gussi in Mexico, Discovery in Bosnia and Croatia and Shani in Israel.

Autumn Spring, which screened at the 2002 Toronto and Montreal Film Festivals stars Vlastimil Brodsky as a 75 year-old man who good-humouredly rails against society's stereotypes of the elderly.
