Revitalised French distributor Bac Films has reported third-quarterrevenues of $4.6m (Euros 3.9m), up sharply from $1.2m (Euros 1m) for the sameperiod last year.

Overall, the company has seen revenue rise to $17m (Euros 14.5m) since thestart of the year, spurred in theatres by the release of Jim Jarmusch's Cannes favourite Broken Flowerswhich brought in roughly one million admissions.

The video label has also seen strong growth up to $0.97m (Euros 0.8m)compared with $0.24m (Euros 0.2m) in the same period last year.

The nascent sales arm has also had a healthy year; so far marking $1.2m(Euros 1m in sales.)

The last quarter of 2005 looks promising with the release of Carlos Reygadas' Battle in Heaven, Amos Gitai's Cannesselection Free Zone, and La Vie Est A Nous from director Gerard

After a number of difficult years, Bac's target for 2005 is $21m (Euros18m) in total revenues.
