Barbara Hannegan has been promoted to vice president, international publicity, at Universal Pictures, completing a restructure of the studio's international publicity team which sees the arrival of three new staff publicists - Larry Angrisani, Mark Markline and Elena O'Gorman.

Hannegan will report to Randy Greenberg who is senior vice president of international marketing and distribution.

Hannegan was named executive director of international publicity in 1999 after three years as director of international publicity. She has been with the department for 12 years, starting as a staff assistant. She was responsible for overseeing the international publicity campaigns for The Mummy Returns, Jurassic Park III and American Pie 2 and over the years has worked on campaigns such as Shakespeare In Love, Babe, Apollo 13, Gladiator and Dr Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Angrisani has been with the department since 1997 and was promoted to senior publicist in April 2002; Markline was previously in the field publicity and promotions department at USA Films and is now senior publicist; O'Gorman joins as a junior publicist after two years as an account executive at B/W/R Public Relations.
