Leading German sales agent, Bavaria Film International had a successful MIFED selling all rights for Japan on its local hit Bibi Blocksberg to Gaga Communications.

The film, an adaptation of a popular children's novel directed by Hermine Huntgeburth, has grossed Euros8m in Germany and was also sold to Thai distributor Right Beyond and Greek distributor Camelot.

Camelot also took the rights for controversial Venice competition film Fuehrer Ex and for Fridrik Thor Fridriksson's Falcons.

In other deals Fatih Akin's Solino about Italian immigrants who open the first pizza store in the Ruhr, was sold to Israel's Shapira and Norway's Fidalgo.

Danish box-office-hit okay directed by Jesper W Nielsen was licensed to Hungary's Budapest Film.
