Bavaria's regional film fund FFF Bayern is to sign a Film Agreement with Quebec's Societe de Developpement des Entreprises Culturelles (SODEC) during a Bavarian Arts and Business Week in Montreal in mid-May.

'There has been a collaboration with Quebec for some time', FFF Bayern spokesman Lothar Just said. "We had a delegation of Munich producers going to Montreal, and another one of Canadian producers came to Munich last autumn. We have been exploring the potential for making co-production easier on a practical level and the Agreement will help producers from the two regions who want to work together.'

FFF Bayern executive director Klaus Schaefer will lead a delegation including funding executive Michaela Haberlander, producer Molly von Fuerstenberg (Olga Film) and actor Juergen Vogel whose feature film Naked (Nackt) by Doris Doerrie will open a 'made in Bavaria' Film Week
