Independent Los Angeles producer Brandon Fowler has set up Transdermal Entertainment, a financing and production company focused on films with "mid-range" budgets.

The company is has two projects in development: Reverie, a drama about two young men making a documentary about the homeless and how it changes their lives forever, and Deterium, which is written and will be directed by Fowler, which follows two young adults struggling to overcome childhood traumas.

Reverie, written and to be directed by Anthony Perretta stars Nate Dushku, Marina Black and AJ Buckley, is scheduled to shoot by the end of this year, while Deterium will shoot in 2003.

Fowler made his first film 18 starring Dee Wallace Stone and Cory Pendergast in 1998. He is represented by Robert Darwell, of law firm Katten, Muchin, Zavis, Rosenman.
