UK producer Michele Camarda, ICM London chief Duncan Heath and East Is East writer Ayub Khan Din are on the jury at this year's British Independent Film Awards.

Joining them are producer and Civilian Content chief Richard Holmes, director Declan Lowney, sales executive Fiona Mitchell, producer Andy Paterson, actress Samantha Morton and distributor Rupert Preston. The annual event's third edition will be held on October 25 at London's Cafe Royal.

Films qualifying must be intended for a theatrical release and have had a public screening to a paying audience between October last year and September this year. Additionally, films must not be funded by a single studio and must have been at least majority produced or financed by UK sources.

The event has this year secured marketing and communications company Coppernob Communications as headline sponsor.
