Montreal's Lux Films has joined forces with commercials house Jet Films to form a new feature film company Go Films.

The new company, headed by Lux president Nicole Robert, director Gabriel Pelletier and Jet's Jacques Langlois and Richard Speer, will focus on producing features for the domestic and international marketplace.

"We decided to create Go because with the various experience of the four partners we thought we could build a strong company," said Robert. "We will continue to produce for our first market, French Quebec, and also expand into the international marketplace with English-language product."

The company is currently waiting for financing on its debut project Karmina II, a sequel to the award-winning Lux comedy Karmina.
