HenryWinterstern, the co-founder and managing partner of Canada's CDP CapitalEntertainment, has been appointed chairman of the board at Stewart Till'snew company Signpost Films. He will play an integral role in identifyingstrategic partners and providing deal expertise for Signpost.

Signpost is backed by CDPCapital Communications (a member of fund management group CDP Capital) andMosaic Media Group, the LA entertainment group which consists of CharlesRoven's Atlas Entertainment and Eric Gold and Jimmy Miller'sGold/Miller Company and in which CDP is also a key investor. The company plansto make four to six films in its first year and spend over $2bn producing anddistributing films in its first five years.

Winsterstern is also on theboards of Mosaic and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer with which Roven has a productiondeal.

Prior to co-founding CDPCapital Entertainment, Mr. Winterstern was president of Canadian investmentfirm Winterstern & Associates,and an acquisition partner with Goldman Sachs-owned real estate fund WhitehallStreet Fund.
