Lions Gate Films has bought US rights to Marek Kanievska's A Different Loyalty starring Sharon Stone and Rupert Everett which began shooting last month in Montreal. The film which is sold here by Arclight Films will move to locations in London, Malta and Moscow during its shoot.

The film is set in 1963 and follows a woman who is faced with the prospect that her journalist husband has defected to communist Russia. Arclight has also sold the film to Manga Films for Spain, Splendid for Germany, Europa for Latin America, Lady Films for Italy, MPA for Brazil and Prisvideo for Portugal
