Brian Dailey been promoted to vice president of media and research at Artisan Entertainment from his position as director of theatrical administration. He will report to Amorette Jones, executive vice president, worldwide marketing, Artisan Pictures. In this new capacity, he will oversee the newspaper and broadcast media buys for Artisan's theatrical releases as well as marketing research for these films.

Prior to joining Artisan, Dailey worked in marketing finance at DreamWorks SKG and as manager of marketing administration at MGM.

Meanwhile Jon Epstein has been named vice president, creative services, theatrical marketing for Artisan. He too will report to Jones, and is responsible for creating trailers and television advertising for all Artisan's theatrical releases. He was previously creative director at Artisan and worked on marketing campaigns for Requiem For A Dream, Dr T And The Women and Chuck And Buck among other releases.
