Benedek Fliegauf's Dealerwas named the best Hungarian film at this week's Hungarian Film Critic'sawards.

The critics gave a specialprize to Szabolcs Hajdu's Tamara while Ferenc Torok was named bestdirector for his second feature Eastern Sugar. Both films receivedfurther honours: Eastern Sugar received the best soundtrack award forBalazs Zsager while Istvan Szaladjak was named best cinematographer for Tamara.Monika Esztan won the rarely awarded set design award for Tamara.

Tibor Gaspar was named bestactor for his role in Attila Janisch's After the Day Before and GyorgyCserhalmi best actor in a supporting role for his performance in MartaMeszaros' Unburied Dead.

No best actress prize washanded out while Dealer's child lead Edina Balogh received the award foran actress in a supporting role.
