After a mere six months, UGC International director Alexandre Drubigny has left the company.

Although sources at UGC confirm Drubigny's voluntary departure, no answers are being given as to what his future plans are.

Drubigny, a former TF1 executive, was hired by Canal Plus in 2001 to head up programming during the restructuring of the channel following the Vivendi Universal merger. While the move came as a surprise, many hopes were pinned on the young executive to help boost Canal's schedule. With the morass of difficulties at Canal over the past year, Drubigny left and headed to UGC International in another surprise move this spring.

Calls to UGC were unanswered, but insiders believe that Drubigny will likely soon make a return to the television industry.
