New York-based digitalcinema network Emerging Pictures is partnering with Thirteen/WNET New York andother local PBS TV stations across the US to screen Andy Warhol: ADocumentary Film in theatricalvenues in 20 cities.

The two-part, four-hourdocumentary, directed by Ric Burns, is part of Thirteen/WNET's American Mastersseries. Each PBS station will host the screenings at Emerging theatre venues,as they did last year with Martin Scorsese's No Direction Home: Bob Dylan.

"The tremendous excitementgenerated by last year's screenings of No Direction Home thoroughly convinced us that large screen publicpresentations build tremendous excitement for the film, American Masters, PBSand Emerging's venue partners.," said Emerging's chairman and co-founder BarryRebo in a statement.
