Film and Music Entertainment Ltd (FAME) has signed an exclusive US representation deal with management company Handprint Entertainment.

In pacting with Handprint, FAME's Mike Downey and Sam Taylor believe that not only their access to US talent will be smoother and less time consuming, They also expect to benefit from Handprint's in house management facilities and stable of artists, which includes J-Lo

FAME, which is chaired by Stephen Daldry and recently delivered Deathwatch, currently has three pictures in different stages of development and pre-production. The US slate is led by No-One Thinks of Greenland, which UK writer John Paul Chapple has adapted from John Griesemer's novel.

"Our need for a year round presence looking after our interests not only with the US majors but also with the major agencies has become inevitable and a commercial and creative necessity," said FAME managing director Mike Downey.
