Buyers snap up a raft of Wild Bunch titles including Blonde and competition entries Of Gods And Men, Burnt By The Sun 2.

Wild Bunch has closed deals with the UK’s Optimum and Italy’s Lucky Red on the Andrew Dominik project Blonde, which is to star Naomi Watts as Marilyn Monroe. Offers are coming in for several other major territories.

The company has been very active with myriad deals concluded during Cannes including for its competition entries Of Gods And Men and Burnt By The Sun 2. The former sold to Benelux (Lumiere) and Spain (Golem) and the latter to France (UGC), Benelux (Paradiso), Spain (Golem) and Mexico (Quality) among others.

Other notable sales include Emir Kusturica’s Pancho Villa to Medusa in Italy and CP Digital for Russia; Cool Water, also from Kusturica, to Wild Bunch France and Wild Bunch Germany and CP Digital; Gregg Araki’s Kaboom to Wild Bunch France and Quality in Mexico; Draquila to France (Babe) and Wild Bunch Benelux; Jean-Luc Godard’s Film Socialisme to Mexico (Cinema Nuevaera), Spain (Piramide), France (Wild Bunch) and Japan (Shibata) and Fortnight title We Are What We Are to the UK (Artificial Eye) with three offers pending from the US.
