Duncan Jones’ debut feature Moon scooped the best film, screenplay, actor and production design awards at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, which closed today (October 12).

Moon, which has already picked up awards at the Edinburgh and Seattle film festivals, is about an astronaut living in space with only a computer (voiced by Kevin Spacey). It is currently on general release in Spain, having made a respectable $1.5m in the UK.

Elsewhere, Filipino film-maker Brillante Mendoza picked up the best director prize for his drama Kinatay, which is the same award he won at Cannes earlier this year; Ruben Fleischer’s Zombieland picked up the audience award and Gaspar Noe’s drama Enter The Void won best cinematography (Benoit Debie).

Elena Anaya, star of Gabe Ibañez’ Spanish thriller Hierro, and Kim Ok-vin, star of Park Chan-wook’s Korean horror Thirst, shared the prize for best actress.
