The First International Travelling Film Market (DOORS) hosted a well-attended film summit on June 23 in Moscow.

On June 23, the First International Travelling Film Market, DOORS, hosted an industry summit, organized by Roskino and the Russian Film Commission USA, with the support of Russia’s Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The summit, which largely addressed the distribution of foreign language films in the US and the potential for US-Russian co-productions, was part of the 34th Moscow International Film Festival.

Attendees included Anthony Safford, head of worldwide acquisitions for 20th Century Fox and Fox Searchlight, Howard Cohen and Eric D’Arbeloff, co-founders and co-residents of Roadside Attractions, Bob and Jeanne Berney, Alex Kruglov, vice-president of Hulu, Arianna Bocco, acquisitions executive at IFC Films and Sundance Select and Richard Lorber, president and CEO of Kino Lorber.
