ShorelineEntertainment and Matador Pictures have started principal photography inGlasgow on Senseless staringJason Behr.

Matador's Nigel Thomas and Micky MacPherson of Plum Films are producing andShoreline's Morris Ruskin serves as executive producer along with Matador'sLauri Apelian and Circle Of Confusion's Lawrence Mattis, David Alpert and DavidEngel.

Simon Hynd is directing based on his adaptation of Stona Fitch's novel about awealthy businessman whose brutal kidnapping and torture are streamed online aspart of an ultra-violent reality TV show.

Shoreline and Matador are also premiering two projects at the Cannes market:the psychological thriller Dark Corners starring Thora Birch and horror title Voodoo Lagoon starring John Noble.

"Shoreline and Matador have set out to make very smart, original, andcommercial films," Apelian said. "Now that Dark Corners and Voodoo Lagoon are finished, we are excited to be starting up with Senseless, an incredible script that builds upon the team'svision."

Senseless is being produced inassociation with Circle of Confusion, and the project was brought to Ruskin atShoreline by Mattis.
