While Brother Bear and the local hit Dog Nail Clipper stayed on top of the Finnish chart this weekend, the two new releases on third and fourth, Something's Gotta Give and the homemade WW2 drama Beyond The Front Line, both had much better screen averages but fewer prints.

Veteran actor and filmmaker Aake Lindman (b.1928) has based his new film on the true story of a small band of Finnish-Swedish soldiers fighting in 1942-44. It stars Tobias Zilliacus and Ilkka Heiskanen and was written by Stefan Forss and Benedict Zilliacus.

However, the Oscar glam to some degree also reached Finland as winners Monster and The Return Of The King both moved up the chart, while Lost In Translation retained the best screen average of Euros 7,156.
