Per Fly's Manslaughterhas won the prestigious NordicCouncil Film Prize 2005

The third film in Fly's class trilogy, Manslaughter is still playing well in Denmark after six weeks of releaseand nearly 320.000 tickets sold. Itrecently played in competition at San Sebastian.

The cash prize was awarded by the Nordic Council andcomes with a purse of Euros 47.000 to be divided by Fly, producer Ib Tardini,andscriptwriters Dorte Høgh, Mogens Rukov and Kim Leona. Manslaughter beat nine other Nordicfilms to the prize.

Manslaughter tells the story of middle aged and middle class high school teacher (Jesper Christensen again) struggling to find therevolutionary ideals from his youth.
