Anger Management raised its international total to an estimated $5.1m in a secondweekend that was marked by a decent Australian follow-up and two numberfinishes from four openings in SARS-hit Asia, where theatre attendances weredown.

The Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson comedy grossed $1.4m inAustralia, dropping 29% after last weekend's strong opening for a $4.5m totalfor distributor Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International (CTFDI).

In Taiwan it opened top, grossing $93,000 from 14 screens in thecapital Taipei. Singapore also produced a number one bow, grossing $165,000from 26 screens.

In Thailand the film took $100,000 from 36 for third place, whilethe Philippines yielded $106,000 from 21 for an unconfirmed finish.

All results were lower than expected as the respiratory virus SARScontinued to play havoc in the region.

Overall Anger Management grossed $1.9m on 467 screens in all territories.

Elsewhere theromantic comedy Maid In Manhattan raised its international running total to $60m after a weekendgross of $2.4m on 1,500 screens.
