X-Men 2 director Bryan Singer and stars from the picture aredue to take part in a global online chat on Apr 15, two weeks before the Foxsequel goes out in what the studio is calling the largest day-and-date releasein industry.

The picture is scheduled toopen in 93 international territories, including North America and all keyinternational markets, over a four-day period from Apr 30-May 3.

To commemorate the launch,Singer and several key cast members will face questions from 12pm to 2pmPacific Time at the picture's official website at: www.x2-movie.com.

Participating stars due totake part are: Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Alan CummingJames Marsden, Anna Paquin, Kelly Hu, Shawn Ashmore and Aaron Stanford.

Each person will be allotteda 10-minute slot in accordance with a schedule that will appear in advance onthe site. Bryan Singer and producer Lauren Shuler Donner will also answerquestions.

The session, which is beinghosted by Seattle-based digital audio-video network specialists Real Networksand moderated by Fox, will go ahead in six languages - English, French,Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

Los Angeles-based Peoplelinkwill provide online support and a team of more than 30 translators.

X-Men was a major hit when it came out in 2000, grossing$157.3m in the US and $294.3m worldwide.

Outside of the day-and-datepattern, X-Men 2 will open inIndonesia on May 7; Russia and Israel on May 8; India on May 30; and Egypt onJun 11.
