Wild Bunch salesexecutive Gael Nouaille and Laurent Baudens, formerly of Gemini Films, are inCannes christening a new company which will specialise in the distribution ofvideo and TV rights for Asian films.

Callingthemselves Borsalino, the two will focus on getting Asian catalogue films toaudiences in Latin American which Nouaille and Baudens believe has beenunderserved as a market for such works.

The pair plan towork with 1 to 2 films a month while looking for 15-20 acquisitions during thecurrent market. A first deal is in negotiations with Media Asia for a packageof titles.

Nouaille remainsin his post at Wild Bunch with the day to day being overseen by Baudens.
