The 16th annualNew York Jewish Film Festival will run from Jan 10-25 2007 featuring 31 filmsand two world, nine US and nine New York premieres.

Highlightsinclude Amos Gitai's documentary News From Home/News From House, Christian Delage's documentary Nuremberg:The Nazis Facing Their Crimes, and the US premiere of Alejandro Springall's comedy MyMexican Shivahco-produced by John Sayles.

George Roland's1939 melodrama Love And Sacrifice is one of three restored classics, alongside E Mason Hopper's1922 silent drama Hungry Hearts, and Ilya Motyleff's (and Sidney Gordon, uncredited) 1937 Yiddishmusical The Cantor's Son.
