Harry Potter video release becomes fastest-selling title in the UK
Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone has become the UK's fastest-selling release on video and DVD, with 1.25 million copies being snapped up within 24 hours of going on release on May 11.The previous record was held by Titanic, with first-day sales of 1.1 million. Warner Bros home video has shipped some 5 million copies of the title to 700 UK outlets, in anticipation of massive demand. Titanic sold 4.1 million video copies within a month of release
