London based High PointFilms have taken on international sales for French language titles, Montreal competitor Miss Montigny and Julie Depardieu starring Moon on the Snow.

Starring Cesar nomineeSophie Quinton, Miss Montigny isthe first feature for documentary director Miel van Hoogenbemt. It tells thestory of a 19-year-old girl who is coerced into entering a local beauty contestby her pushy mother.

Produced by SebastienDelloye for Entre Chien et Loup, the film has been selected to play in the maincompetition at the Montreal World Film Festival.

First time feature directorPilar Anguita-Mackay's Swiss film Moon on the Snow stars Julie Depardieu (A Very Long Engagement) and Maria-Josee Croze (The Barbarian Invasions).

The film centres on threesiblings, estranged by a shared traumatic childhood memory, who gather by theirmother's deathbed to consider euthanasia. Produced by Gilles Roulin for OlympiaFilms, Moon on the Snow isscheduled to be released in Switzerland by Ascot Elite at the end of the year.
