Hong Kong-based GoldenNetwork Asia has secured a slew of sales to Brazil, which is emerging as one ofthe most acquisitive territories at the AFM.

Brazil's Golden Filmes hassnapped up Thai horror titles The Victim, which is currently topping the Thai box office, and Ghost Game directed by Sarawut Wichiensarn.

The company has alsopre-bought two Thai productions from Golden Network - Mid Road Gang, a drama about a gang of stray dogs in downtownBangkok, and Mr Duck Fight abouta kung-fu fighting duck. Both films were also sold to Hong Kong's CelestialPictures.

Meanwhile Brazil's FocusFilmes has bought Bollywood superhero movie Krrish, which has also gone to Taiwan's Scholar Film,Thailand's J-bics and Turkey's Saran Media.

Korea's K+Entertainment hasbought both distribution and Korean-language remake rights to The Victim, while Scholar took the film for Taiwan.

Ghost Game has also been sold to the UK (Showbox), Scandinavia(NonStop), Singapore & Malaysia (Festive), Hong Kong (Celestial) andScholar (Taiwan). It was also sold to Indonesia's Queen Films at the recentAsian Film Market. Mid Road Gangwas also sold to New Action Film in Taiwan.
