With yet anotherseven new releases hitting the cinemas last week in Hungary, a decentperformance is becoming more and more of a challenge for any production.

While the newlyreleased thriller Forgotten was ableto grab the box office second spot with nearly 20,000 admissions on twentyprints and comedy Dodgeball alsoperformed decently with over 12,000 admissions on nineteen prints, all furthernew releases sunk without much impact.

The Manchurian Candidate was the week's biggest loser with less than ninethousand admissions on a strong twenty prints but local productions, AttilaJanisch's After The Day Before (Masnap) and Mari Cantu's Rosehill (Rozsadomb) also failed to capture the Hungarian audience.
