With the Septemberrush over, a very modest weekend at the Hungarian box office was dominated by The Village which held onto its leadposition in the third week of its release with just over 12,000 admissions.

None of last week'snew releases could outdo this performance, both UIP-Duna Film's The Stepford Wives and InterCom's Man On Fire failed to entice audiencesand could barely muster 10,000 admissions on eighteen and twenty prints, respectively.

The Wayans comedy White Chicks was an even bigger disappointment, the film only managed 8,000 admissions on a very strong twenty-two prints.
