Iberoamerican film fund, Ibermedia, has handed out a $3.6m to ten territories in its third funding round. Countries to benefit include Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The bulk of the fund (60%) went to co-productions, while 30% went to distribution, 5% to project development and 5% to training. Spain received the largest share of the pie with $737,800 for 20 projects.

Among the high-profile projects selected for aid in distribution and p&a were: Celos by Vicente Aranda ($13,250); Goya In Bordeaux by Carlos Saura ($15,500); Nadie Conoce A Nadie by Mateo Gil ($13,250) and Segunda Piel by Gerardo Vera ($14,900).
