Eli Roth will give the keynote address at the 13th annual IFTA Production Conference on Apr 20 in Beverly Hills, one of three prominent conferences set to take place in Los Angeles in the next three months.

The conference, called Cost Isn’t An Obstacle Anymore! New Avenues To Finance, Produce & Distribute Films At Any Budget, will also feature an industry panel to be moderated by Pierre David.

Panellists include film packaging and finance consultant Hal Sadoff, the outgoing head of ICM’s independent financing and packaging division, as well as Big Air Studios CEO Michael Arrieta and IndieGoGo principal Adam Chapnick.

Sony will host the 2012 Produced By Conference backed by the Producers Guild Of America in association with the International CES from Jun 8-10 on the Sony lot in Culver City. Speakers will include Lionsgate vice-chairman Michael Burns, Michael De Luca and Mark Cuban.

  • The Transmedia, Hollywood 3: Rethinking Creative Relations conference presented annually by UCLA and USC will take place on Apr 6 in downtown Los Angeles. Panellists will include Elite Squad director Jose Padilha, producer Ted Hope and Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Comics.
