Nia Dinata's Love For Share (Berbagi Suami) has been named Indonesia's official entry for this year's foreign-languageOscar category.

The entry was selected byPersatuan Perusahaan Film Indonesia (PPFI) which has created a 17-memberselection committee comprising film-makers, actors, writers, critics anddistributors.

The committee is headed byfilm critic Leila Chudori and members include 21 Group CEO Harris Lasmana,producers Chand Parwez Servia, Raam Punjabi and Shanty Harmayn as well asdirectors Garin Nugroho and Riri Riza.

Love For Share which tackles the anguish of polygamy is an Indonesia-Franceco-production between Dinata's own company Kalyana Shira Film and ClaudeKunetz's Wallworks. After receiving its North American premiere at Tribeca thisyear, it is currently playing at Vancouver and will be travelling to Hawaii, Tokyo, Cairo and Lyon Asian Film Festival, among others.

It's the third film by theyoung director Dinata whose directorial debut A Courtesan was chosen to represent Indonesia in the Oscar race in 2002. Sekar Ayu Asmara's The Stringless Violin which Dinataproduced was submitted in 2003. Last year's entry was Riza's Gie.
