Over a weekend when only one film, The Village, could manage to gross over $10m at the internationalbox office, it was still a landmark period for Buena Vista International.

In the week when itwas announced that BVI had achieved $1bn in international ticket sales for the10th year in a row, it also saw KingArthur cross the $100m mark, while TheVillage enjoyed number one launches in multiple European territoriesincluding The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Norway.

Meanwhile, The Bourne Supremacy received a boostfrom openings in Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Singapore and Thailand throughUIP; while Fox's comedy DodgeBallmade its debut on the international circuit with a strong start in the UK and aso-so launch in Mexico.

Meanwhile as his previous film, Hero, topped the North American charts Zhang Yimou's House Of Flying Daggers shot back intothe international chart following its Japanese launch through Warner Bros underthe title Lovers.
