International - The Russians are coming

Russian films made their mark this weekend as three titles from the territory collectively accounted for 4.7% of the international revenue from the top 40 films over the three-day period. Two new entries - Mongol and 12 - both made the top 30 this weekend while Day Watch, the follow-up to 2004's international vampire hit Night Watch, jumped back into the chart after 90 weeks on release.
