The Celtic Film and Television Festival has announced the awards shortlist for its 27th annualfestival, which recognizes works from the Celtic countries and regions (Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland and Wales).

Ireland leads with 30 nominations, Scotland follows with 27, and Wales with 26. In the filmcategories, best feature film nominees are AWay of Life from Wales, Festival from Scotland, and Hill 16 from Ireland. Best shorts nominees are 20no 22 from NorthernIreland, Bwyta Geiriau from Wales, Del Sul from Cornwall, Jellybaby fromIreland, Meat the Campbellsfrom Scotland, and Cotopaxifrom Scotland.

The winners will be announced at thefestival in Falmouth, Cornwall from March 29-31.
